Combustible. Many reactions may
cause fire or explosion. Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire.

NO open flames. NO contact with
incompatible substances (see Chemical Dangers). NO contact with hot surfaces.

Alcohol-resistant foam, powder,
carbon dioxide, NO water.
|
EXPLOSION |
Above 88°C explosive vapour/air
mixtures may be formed.
|
Above 88°C use a closed system,
ventilation, and explosion-proof electrical equipment.
|
In case of fire: cool drums,
etc., by spraying with water but avoid contact of the substance with water.

INHALATION
|
Burning sensation. Cough.
Shortness of breath. Sore throat.
|
Avoid inhalation of fine dust
and mist. Closed system and ventilation.
|
Fresh air, rest. Half-upright
position. Artificial respiration if indicated. Refer for medical attention. See Notes.

SKIN |
Redness. Skin burns. Burning
sensation. Pain.
|
Protective gloves.
|
Remove contaminated clothes.
Rinse skin with plenty of water or shower. Refer for medical attention. Wear protective
gloves when administering first aid.
|
EYES |
Redness. Pain. Severe deep
burns.
|
Safety goggles.
|
First rinse with plenty of water
for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
|
|
Corrosive. Abdominal cramps.
Abdominal pain. Weakness (further see Inhalation).
|
Do not eat, drink, or smoke
during work.
|
Rinse mouth. Rest. Refer for
medical attention. See Notes.
