FIRE	Combustible.	NO open flames.	Water spray, powder.
EXPLOSION

EXPOSURE		PREVENT DISPERSION OF DUST!
INHALATION		Local exhaust or breathing protection.	Fresh air, rest. Artificial respiration if indicated. Refer for medical attention.
SKIN		Protective gloves. Protective clothing.	Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.
EYES		Safety goggles.	First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.

Sweep spilled substance into containers; if appropriate, moisten first to prevent dusting. Carefully collect remainder, then remove to safe place (extra personal protection: P2 filter respirator for harmful particles).

Repeated or prolonged contact may cause skin sensitization. Repeated or prolonged inhalation exposure may cause asthma.

N O T E S

Rosin is obtained from pine trees. Rosin is available as wood rosin, gum rosin or tall oil rosin. Anyone who has shown symptoms of asthma due to this substance should avoid all further contact with this substance. Workers who are exposed to rosin fumes should wear protective clothing.
