Highly flammable. Gives off
irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire.

hydrous agents. NO water.

EXPLOSION |
Vapour/air mixtures are
explosive.
|
Closed system, ventilation,
explosion-proof electrical equipment and lighting.
|
In case of fire: cool drums,
etc., by spraying with water but avoid contact of the substance with water.

EXPOSURE |

|
|
INHALATION
|
Corrosive. Burning sensation.
Cough. Shortness of breath. Unconsciousness. Symptoms may be delayed (see Notes).
|
Closed system and ventilation.
|
Fresh air, rest. Half-upright
position. Refer for medical attention.
|
SKIN |
Corrosive. Redness. Skin burns.
Pain. Blisters.
|
Protective clothing.
|
First rinse with plenty of
water, then remove contaminated clothes and rinse again. Refer for medical attention.
|
EYES |
Corrosive. Redness. Pain. Loss
of vision. Severe deep burns.
|
Face shield or eye protection
in combination with breathing protection.
|
First rinse with plenty of water
for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
|
INGESTION
|
Corrosive. Abdominal cramps.
Burning sensation. Diarrhoea. Sore throat. Vomiting.
|
Do not eat, drink, or smoke
during work.
|
Do NOT induce vomiting. Refer
for medical attention.
