Not combustible. Gives off
irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire.

In case of fire in the
surroundings: powder, carbon dioxide, NO hydrous agents, NO water.

EXPLOSION |

In case of fire: cool drums,
etc., by spraying with water but avoid contact of the substance with water.

EXPOSURE |

AVOID ALL CONTACT!

IN ALL CASES CONSULT A DOCTOR!
|
INHALATION
|
Corrosive. Burning sensation.
Cough. Laboured breathing. Tightness in the chest. Symptoms may be delayed (see Notes).
|
Ventilation, local exhaust, or
breathing protection.
|
Fresh air, rest. Half-upright
position. Artificial respiration if indicated. Refer for medical attention.
|
SKIN |
Corrosive. Redness. Pain.
Blisters.
|
Protective gloves. Protective
clothing.
|
Remove contaminated clothes.
Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap. Refer for medical attention.
|
EYES |
Corrosive. Redness. Pain.
Severe deep burns. Permanent damage.
|
Face shield or eye protection
in combination with breathing protection.
|
First rinse with plenty of water
for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
|
INGESTION
|
Corrosive. Abdominal cramps.
Burning sensation. Shock or collapse.
|
Do not eat, drink, or smoke
during work.
|
Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce
vomiting. Refer for medical attention.
