EXPOSURE

INHALATION Cough. Sore throat.
Ventilation, local exhaust, or breathing protection.
Fresh air, rest.
SKIN Redness.
Protective gloves. Protective clothing.
Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap. Refer for medical attention.
EYES Redness.
Safety goggles, or face shield.
First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
INGESTION Diarrhoea.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.
Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Refer for medical attention.
SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
Collect leaking liquid in sealable containers. Absorb remaining liquid in sand or inert absorbent and remove to safe place.

PHYSICAL STATE; APPEARANCE:
COLOURLESS VISCOUS LIQUID.

PHYSICAL DANGERS:

CHEMICAL DANGERS:
The substance will polymerize if not inhibited due to heating or in the presence of a catalyst. On combustion, forms toxic carbon oxides. Reacts with strong oxidants, bases, acids.

OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS (OELs):
TLV not established.

ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation of its vapour, through the skin and by ingestion.

INHALATION RISK:
A harmful contamination of the air will not or will only very slowly be reached on evaporation of this substance at 20°C.

EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
The substance irritates the eyes and the skin. Swallowing the liquid may cause aspiration into the lungs with the risk of chemical pneumonitis.

EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED EXPOSURE:
The substance may have effects on the liver , resulting in tissue lesions.
