FIRE |
Not combustible but
enhances combustion of other substances. Many reactions may cause fire or explosion.

NO contact with
combustibles.

In case of fire in the
surroundings: water in large amounts, water spray.
|
EXPLOSION |
Risk of fire and explosion
as a result of spark, impact, sunlight, heating or contact with combustible materials.
|
Closed system, ventilation,
explosion-proof electrical equipment and lighting. Do NOT expose to friction or shock.
|
In case of fire: keep
drums, etc., cool by spraying with water. Combat fire from a sheltered position.

EXPOSURE |

INHALATION |
Corrosive. Cough.
Headache. Laboured breathing. Nausea. Shortness of breath. Sore throat. Symptoms may
be delayed (see Notes).

Ventilation, local exhaust,
or breathing protection. Closed system and ventilation.
|
Fresh air, rest.
Half-upright position. Artificial respiration if indicated. Refer for medical attention.

SKIN |
Corrosive. Redness.
Serious skin burns. Pain.
|
Protective gloves.
Protective clothing.
|
First rinse with plenty of
water, then remove contaminated clothes and rinse again. Refer for medical attention.
|
EYES |
Corrosive. Redness. Pain.
Blurred vision.
|
Safety goggles or eye
protection in combination with breathing protection.
|
First rinse with plenty of
water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a
doctor.
