Participants

Up to 50-55 participants, from headquarters (3 or 4 persons from each of the four technical sectors, 4 persons from other ILO units, such as PROGRAM and CODEV), from MDTs (up to 12 persons), from area offices (5 persons), from outside the ILO (UN agencies, resource persons, up to 3 persons), 3 persons from the Decent Work Pilot Programme, and technical staff from ILO Turin. The conference is open to all ILO staff in technical programmes or in programming, from all ILO units, in the regions or at headquarters.

The Conference will make available, before the event, a set of documents to participants

Speakers [top]

Speakers will mainly come from the ILO with a few outside persons. These include keynote speakers in plenary sessions and short presentations in working groups.

Budget [top]

Travel between ILO Geneva and Turin and room and board will be borne by DW/PP.

Practical information [top]

Sports: tennis, jogging, soccer, etc are all on hand at the Turin centre. Just ask.

Health: Please note that Turin conference premises are tobacco free. Smoking is preferred in open air areas. First aid care and health care can be secured by calling to the front desk.
