FIRE	Flammable. Heating will cause rise in pressure with risk of bursting.	NO open flames.	Powder, water spray, foam, carbon dioxide.
EXPLOSION	Above 52.8°C explosive vapour/air mixtures may be formed.	Above 52.8°C use a closed system, ventilation, and explosion-proof electrical equipment.	In case of fire: keep cylinder cool by spraying with water.

EXPOSURE		PREVENT GENERATION OF MISTS!
INHALATION	Dizziness. Drowsiness. Dullness. Headache. Sore throat.	Ventilation, local exhaust, or breathing protection.	Fresh air, rest. Artificial respiration if indicated. Refer for medical attention.
SKIN	Dry skin. Redness.	Protective gloves.	Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.
EYES	Redness.	Safety spectacles.	First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
INGESTION	Abdominal pain. Nausea. Vomiting.	Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.	Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Refer for medical attention.

Ventilation. Collect leaking and spilled liquid in sealable containers as far as possible. Absorb remaining liquid in sand or inert absorbent and remove to safe place (extra personal protection: self-contained breathing apparatus).

Separated from strong oxidants, strong acids. Well closed. Keep in a well-ventilated room. Store only if stabilized.

COLOURLESS LIQUID , WITH CHARACTERISTIC ODOUR.

The vapour is heavier than air.

CHEMICAL DANGERS:
The substance may polymerize due to warming with fire or explosion hazard. Reacts with strong oxidants and strong acids.

OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS (OELs):
TLV: 50 ppm; 242 mg/m³ (as TWA); 100 ppm; 483 mg/m³ (as STEL) (ACGIH 1996).

ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation and by ingestion.

INHALATION RISK:
A harmful contamination of the air will be reached rather slowly on evaporation of this substance at 20°C.

EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
The substance irritates the eyes, the skin and the respiratory tract. The substance may cause effects on the central nervous system.

EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED EXPOSURE:
Repeated or prolonged contact with skin may cause dermatitis. The liquid defats the skin. The substance may have effects on the liver and kidneys , resulting in tissue lesions.
